An event at Ackerman Heritage House (AHH) is truly original. In addition to the historical surroundings and antique furnishings all antique linens, china, silverware and serving ware will take your celebration into the age of Victoria.  There will rarely be a need for rentals of any kind. Our Event Planner can work with you to make the occasion special by booking a Murder Mystery dinner, a sommelier wine tasting, an out-door old-movie screening, a book or poetry reading, costume party,  or nearly anything you can imagine. Afternoon Engish Tea & Tour Now you don’t have to go all the way to San Francisco for traditional English tea! The third Sunday of every month the Ackerman House is hosting a traditional English Tea with seating times from 2:00 to 4:30 PM, reservations needed. Once you arrive you will be given a tour of the 1888 Queen Anne Victorian by Napa historian and docent, Tom Spaulding. Then you will sit to a glass of Domaine Carneros sparkling wine and enjoy a selection of freshly prepared finger sandwiches, scones with lemon curd, and a variety of homemade cakes and pastries prepared by Alexis Baking Company along with your choice of tea served in antique China in the Victorian Parlor.

TIFFANY BROOKMAN

A Napa native, Tiffany Brookman received a degree in psychology and a minor in art from Dominican University of San Rafael, with the intention of becoming an Art Therapist.  Life changes drove her to adjust that goal, in favor of working at Charles Schwab in San Francisco, focused on Active Trader Marketing & Sales. After six years of ferry commuting from Napa, she shifted into the wine industry, working for Franciscan Estates as the Assistant to the Senior Vice President of Sales. There, Tiffany took a crash course in the three-tier distribution system, distribution management and event planning. One of her first tasks was to plan the annual sales meeting for a ninety-plus member sales team and participation in the WSWA Convention.  After experiencing many changes at Franciscan over the years, from the transition to Icon Estates to the eventual takeover by Constellation Brands, she departed and began exploring other opportunities in the wine industry.

     

Since then, Tiffany has worked in sales, marketing and public relations, always with a focus on hospitality and event planning within the wine and entertainment industries. Her current role as Manager of Ackerman Heritage House, a historic 1888 Victorian mansion located in downtown Napa, encompasses event planning and management as well as brand marketing and sales. This new role is the culmination of her past experiences now becoming her ultimate dream job. Tiffany’s organizational and hospitality skills, plus her solid background in wine and food operations, give her the ideal talents to bring the “Grand Dame” known as Ackerman Heritage House to life. Her love of history, wine, food and hospitality is evident in the gracious, memorable  and lavish events she creates for visitors.
